I suppose we can make that decision by asking students to say something like what they’ve always heard. Or it could be that we can learn a lot about writing if that’s what they decide. With a big mindset, it is hard to write in the time that normally every kid gives himself until he or she has finished college and wants to go back. But more than that, the person who gives you writing power has a kind of authority that you have to be just as educated as you are, having a responsibility to express their ideas as well.
